State of the Environment summary reports are produced each year on the major aspects of our environment. Every 5 years there is a comprehensive report highlighting trends. Each section of the summary highlights key points, trends, specific incidents of note and work the Regional Council has done in the year of the report.
People living, working and playing in Hawke’s Bay can use this information to assess changes in their environment and the effect these might have on their lives.
These summaries are now (from 2010) only available on the website as printable PDF pages – you can print as much or as little as you need and help the environment. There are no printed copies of the booklet.
Detailed technical reports sit behind these summaries and can be requested from Council, as these are more useful for business decisions and understanding issues in depth.
