New Pathway Gets Out of the City
Fancy a breath of fresh rural air? Want a walk or bike ride through a paddock by a river? Don’t want to go too far from home?
| The new Rotary pathway that links Guppy Road in Taradale with Awatoto has been completed, with the Regional Council laying a limesand trail mostly along stopbanks and passing through rural areas. The access is for walkers, bike riders and even pushchairs, but is closed to motor vehicles. It runs along side the Tutaekuri River, offering a pleasant country escape for recreation.
