Seaweek is an annual week-long national celebration of our marine environment and a great opportunity for everyday New Zealanders to get involved with projects that help protect and enhance it.

Events are held throughout the week, and include talks, field trips, beach clean-ups - something for everyone! The main event during Seaweek is Seaweek Sunday – a FREE family fun day on Marine Parade on the last day of Seaweek.
Events are held and supported by The National Aquarium, The Department of Conservation, Marineland, Gannet Beach Adventures, The Ministry of Fisheries , Dive HQ Napier , Hawke’s Bay Regional Council and community organisations.
