You are welcome to use all the walks on the property.

There are a variety of walks ranging from flat and easy to steep and difficult. Ensure you can safely complete any walk you start. Fabulous views are available if walking to Table Top on the eastern boundary. Take water and wear appropriate walking shoes.

Safety

Please note the following:

  • Some tracks are not well marked or fully formed
  • Do not go near any piles of cut willow trees. These could collapse
  • Thistles and nettles can cause bad reactions to some people
  • Do not light open fires – the risk of fire is too great
  • A new water treatment system has been implemented but for your health please boil water
  • Keep away from bait stations as they may contain poisonous material (these are small plastic containers on fences or nailed onto trees)
  • Do not go near any farm animals.

Do not

  • Cut any trees down or break branches – most trees have been planted
  • Bring cats or dogs
  • Have open fires
  • Leave rubbish lying around

Donations

  • If camping a $5 per adult per night donation would be appreciated. Donation boxes are located by the toilet near the main road and by the big sign on the eastern lake side.

Remember

  • This is a working farm. Please keep away from animals and do not bring dogs.
