Teacher Workshops

Each year Hawke’s Bay Regional Council organise two teacher workshops specifically for primary and intermediate teachers.

The workshops are usually held around World Water Day – 22 March and World Environment Day – 5 June.

The workshops cover a range of topics from growing and planting native trees, waste minimisation, plant and animal pests, dunes and dune protection, biodiversity to water quality monitoring.

Information is sent out to schools and can be found in Lunchbox, Council’s environmental newsletter for schools.
