All Irrigation Bans Lifted

Hawke's Bay Regional Council has lifted all irrigation bans in the region following days of rain.

All warnings have also been lifted.

All parts of the region have received rain in the last week, with amounts varying between 25mm in the southern end of the region to 204mm behind Lake Waikaremoana.

Central Hawke’s Bay, which has been most affected by the drought, has received 30-40mm in the last seven days, although the south/eastern end of the region received the lowest rainfall.

Hawke's Bay Regional Council will continue to monitor river and stream flows.
