Consents Officer/Senior Consents Officer The Hawke’s Bay Regional Council is seeking an enthusiastic person to assess, report on and make recommendations on resource consent applications. Activities assessed include domestic and industrial wastewater discharges, activities in coastal hazard zones, and structures in watercourses in or near the coastal marine area. You will need a tertiary qualification in an environmentally related field and/or sound relevant skills and reasonable experience in related environmental management fields. You will also need to demonstrate good organisational, administrative, computer, and written and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable working in what can at times be a testing regulatory environment. A senior salary range may be available for a suitably experienced applicant.
