This role will be responsible for monitoring resource consents issued under the Resource Management Act, with the main portfolio based around municipal, domestic and agricultural effluent. We are seeking a person who has relevant experience, ideally with wastewater and/or has a resource management background. The right person may be offered a senior role if they can demonstrate suitable experience and ability to identify and lead change in the compliance programs system and procedures. Ideally the successful applicant will be able to project-manage database development and upgrade programs. They will also be involved in un-consented pollution incidents and the after hours on-call roster. You will need to be able to cope with conflict and be comfortable undertaking formal enforcement action from time to time.
