Hawke’s Bay Region Council is looking to fill this new role which will assist Council to meet its present and future needs in strategic GIS development. We need someone who is genuinely excited and enthusiastic about learning and pushing technical limits and finding appropriate solutions.

You will need at least 3 years relevant experience and appropriate qualifications and an ability to perform advanced GIS analysis. Technically, you will preferably have worked with ESRI software, be able to demonstrate skills using a variety of programming languages and have a reasonable level of web skills and knowledge of web development tools.

You must be an excellent communicator who is self motivated with excellent time management skills and who takes a pride in customer service. Project portfolios will only be required from those called for an interview.
