Porritt School was involved in the Fresh Water Education Programme during term 2 this year. Part of the programme involves the Great Drain Game which is facilitated by Hawke's Bay Regional Council education staff. Porritt school decided to take some action at the end of this programme by painting the storm water drains around their school. They are hoping that this will make their school community aware that only rain should go down the storm water drains.
