More irrigation bans lifted


Irrigation bans have been lifted from the last Ngaruroro River site still under a ban and from the Waipawa River, Raupare Stream and Karamu Stream. 

These waterways revert to a warning status.

Rain last weekend made a considerable difference to flows, and while some flows are dropping again quickly, more rain is predicted tomorrow (Friday).

Total Irrigation Bans
Karewarewa Stream, Poukawa Stream, Irongate Stream, Te Waikaha Stream, Puhokio and Papanui Streams.

Total Warnings
Kauhauroa Stream (Wairoa), Ngaruroro River, Maraekakoho Stream, Louisa Stream, Raupare Stream, Karamu Stream, Maraetotara River, Tukipo River, Waipawa River and Tukituki River.
