13-May-2010 - Pakowhai Planting Day

This Saturday May 15 Hawke’s Bay Regional Council will be holding a planting day for the public at Pakowhai Country Park. This will be from 9 am until midday. The planting will be towards developing a wetland at the back of the park. Bring a spade, gumboots and refreshments. It will be a great opportunity for families to spend some time together and also do their part for the environment. All ages are welcome. Pakowhai Country Park is located on Pakowhai Road, on the Hastings side of the Ngaruroro River.
