The Hawke’s Bay Regional Council operates a free collection and disposal service for unwanted agrichemicals in the Hawke’s Bay region.
Three main collections are held every year in May, August and November. The Council’s collection contractor, R & S McGregor Ltd, can collect directly from properties.
In between the main collections Hawke's Bay Regional Council staff will collect small quantities on request or where large quantities need to be disposed of, the property owner can arrange (by appointment only) to deliver the agrichemical to the Council’s Agrichemical store.
The unwanted agrichemicals will be safely disposed of at an approved hazardous waste disposal facility.
