Planting Days
There will be a planting week held in the first week of June 2009. All are welcome.
If you would like to join in on any of the days, please register your interest by emailing your name, address and contact phone number to restoration@hbrc.govt.nz

Planting Day Map
What to bring:
- Spade
- Drinking water bottle
- Sunny or wet weather gear
- Gumboots or sturdy footwear

Rain Day
If it rains heavily the week before or during our planting week we will attempt to plant a couple of weeks later once the ground has dried out. Those who have registered will be updated with any changes, otherwise watch this space and your local papers!
Maintenance Days
The Karamu Enhancement Group (KEG) and the Saint Columba's Havelock North Environmental House Group (SCHNEHG) undertake monthly maintenance days along the Karamu. If you would like to join them in helping the Karamu Stream please email restoration@hbrc.govt.nz or call 06 833 8085 for contact details.
Register your interest
If you are keen to be involved in either planting or maintenance of the Karamu Project please register your interest by emailing your name, address and contact phone number to Restoration@hbrc.govt.nz. - if you have a specific part of the Karamu Stream that you are interested in, please include this in your email.
Individuals, community groups, schools and businesses are all welcome to register their interest. Notification of planting days will be emailed to all those registered, in addition to advertisement in local papers and on this webpage. Maintenance Day times are available by contacting Council.
