Regional Council and Committee meetings are open to the public, except where items of business specifically exclude the public. Agenda papers contain useful and interesting information and background reports on many aspects of our work - these are available in advance of all meetings.
Meeting dates and times are published in Hawke's Bay Today, and are generally scheduled as follows:
Regional Council - 4th Wednesday of each month (except April and July when these are held on the 5th Wednesday and December when this is held on the 3rd Wednesday)
Maori Committee - 4th Tuesday of every 2nd month
Corporate and Strategic - generally every 2nd month, same day as a Regional Council meeting
Environmental Management - generally on the 2nd Wednesday of every 2nd month
Asset Management & Biosecurity - generally on the 2nd Wednesday of every 3rd month
These Committees have meetings regularly as required - HB Civil Defence Emergency Management Group, Land Transport Committee.
