Are you interested in working for an innovative and progressive Council while enjoying all the benefits of a great lifestyle region?

Hawke’s Bay Regional Council would welcome expressions of interest from positive minded people who would either like to apply for advertised positions, or who want to be informed if suitable opportunities come up.

The majority of current vacancies are advertised on Seek and TradeMe. A closing date is indicated and it is important that applications are received before that date via our online application form.

We welcome expressions of interest for future opportunities from people with relevant skills and experience for the range of roles employed by the Council. HBRC employs a variety of professions and support roles across a range of occupations.

The application guidelines are provided to assist you prepare your application to us and to ensure you supply the information we need to effectively consider your application. It’s important that you give a good background of your skills and experience relative to the position applied for. It’s also important to provide referees who can comment on your previous work.

Hawke’s Bay is renowned for Art Deco, its fabulous wineries and a ‘Mediterranean' climate. It is a progressive region with great opportunities for professionals and families alike.
