About The opportunity | Ko te āheinga:

We have two coordinator roles to fill, due to internal promotion and growth, both within our Compliance team. These roles have a strong customer focus, where you will be responding to incoming enquiries about consent compliance, invoices and reports. You will support the team with recording incidents reported through our pollution hotline, and also participate in project work as part of our continuous development of internal compliance processes.

You will be work closely within the whole Compliance team to maintain and update the monitoring database. This will involve ensuring that data is correctly processed and documented in line with regulatory policy requirements. Accuracy, attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work will be great attributes in this role. You will get to work across a diverse portfolio and be a key member of the team, providing administrative support as needed to ensure the work flows smoothly.

We are looking for a bright and positive personalities, with excellent communication skills and creative approaches to problem solving. You will be adaptable and thrive on change, as this is a diverse and dynamic space to work in. Multitasking will be second nature to you, while maintaining a strong attention to detail.  An understanding of environmental issues and data management would be beneficial but is not essential. An ability to plan and schedule your own work, and to work with little or no supervision is a must in these fast paced and varied roles. 

We need you to be system savvy and able pickup new databases and processes quickly. 

 You will also have:

  •  3 + years' experience working in administration or coordination role with a sound understanding of office administration processes. 
  • Strong customer service skills, ideally with some experience in dealing with members of the public and handling difficult situations.
  • A pro-active nature that drives you to look for solutions and improvement opportunities. 
  • Excellent Microsoft Office and software skills with the ability to trouble shoot problems.
  • Familiarity with the Resource Management Act would be advantageous.
