Hawke's Bay Regional Council is now seeking a full time Team Leader Schemes to join their team in Napier. This pivotal role will see you responsible for managing the operations and maintenance of Flood Control and Drainage Schemes including strategic direction, design, funding and community engagement.You will positively lead the Schemes team through relevant, professional input into the roles and functions as outlined below to ensure they achieve their individual and collective objectives.This will also be achieved by supporting, coaching and other professional development opportunities your direct reports to ensure their work efforts meet the requirements of good customer service and efficient and effective service delivery.
Hawke's Bay Regional Council is the regional authority for the Hawke's Bay region in New Zealand with key roles in environmental management and education; flood control and drainage; pollution and waste; and land, water and coastal management. Supporting approximately 150,000 residents, Council's vision is to enable a connected and vibrant region with resilient communities, a prosperous economy, and a clean, healthy environment.
