Administrator Catchment Management

Hawke's Bay Regional Council (HBRC) is the regional authority for the Hawke's Bay region in New Zealand with key roles in environmental management and education; flood control, drainage, pollution, waste, land, water and coastal management. Supporting approximately 160,000 residents, Council's vision is to enable a healthy environment, a vibrant community and a prosperous economy.  

We have an exciting part time opportunity for a highly organised and innovative administrator to provide support to the Catchment Management teams operating out of Napier (20 hours pw)

This is an important support role that requires excellent customer service ability, an intuitive personality, ability to achieve high levels of accuracy, work effectively under pressure and be an excellent team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude

The successful applicant will need to be skilled in responding to a varied and diverse workload and have exceptional computer and communication skills. Previous experience in a customer service or administration role is required.

Key Skills to be successful in this role are:

• Reception/office administration experience.
• Excellent customer service focus.
• Experience in minute taking
• Experience in maintaining web site information
• Experience providing project support
