About the Opportunity:

The role of Information Management Advisor is to provide input to the development and implementation of an overarching records and document management strategy and framework for HBRC.  The aim of the records and document management strategy and framework is to support HBRC‘s management of operational risks and improve operational efficiencies. 

This role will also provide specialist advice and support services to internal staff on records and document management. As well as, oversee the implantation of standardised EDRMS procedures, clear retention and disposal schedules, standardised control document procedures and to design a business classification and numbering system for controlled documents

About you:

The successful candidate will ideally possess and demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Desired: A tertiary level qualification or industry certification in an information/records management related field.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of document management systems, including file classification.
  • Ability to guide staff on writing and maintaining technical documents
  • Experience with archiving and disposal of records.
  • Understanding of New Zealand’s Public Records Act 2005, LGOIMA, and records keeping standards.

The salary range for this role is $74,790 - $81,438 depending on qualifications and experience.
