Are you an experienced multi-skilled person who takes pride in your work, is committed to safe work practice, physically fit, and wants to work in a positive team?

Hawke’s Bay Regional Council – Works Group (a business unit of Council) is seeking an experienced all-rounder focusing on civil construction, to join the business unit based at Guppy Road, Taradale.

We are seeking a multi-skilled person who is competent in the areas of pipe laying, concrete placement, general carpentry, fencing, chainsaw and scub-bar operation .

NZQA qualifications relating to any of the above would be an advantage.

You must hold a clean current class 1 license. 

You will need to show an ability to communicate well with a broad spectrum of people including land owners and Engineers.  You shall be committed to safe work practices and be comfortable working alone, or in a team environment.

A pre-employment drug test is a requirement for this position.
