Find out about the results of our regular independent survey of Hawke’s Bay residents and their views on the environment and council. The results of the 2017 survey are here.
Every 2-3 years, Hawke's Bay Regional Council commissions an independent survey of Hawke’s Bay people.
In April/May 2017 we surveyed 700 people and here are the results of that survey.
The purpose of our research is to gain an up to date understanding of Hawke's Bay residents attitudes towards the environment, to measure their awareness and satisfaction with the Council and its role, and to identify their preferred methods of communication with the council.
The survey results are shared with Councillors, Executive and HBRC's Management teams to identify key actions that can be taken.
Previous results came from a 500-person 'random' telephone survey in April 2015. By comparison, the survey before that took place in April 2013, canvassing 700 Hawke’s Bay people. These results can be found in related documents below.
