ENV0123 schoolchallenge webbanners 2What is the Secondary Schools Environment Challenge?

After a successful year introducing this to our local secondary schools in 2022, Hawke’s Bay Regional Council is once again putting out a challenge to all Hawke’s Bay Secondary Schools to plan and implement an environmental initiative that supports their school setting. This 6-month long project is an opportunity to take action for our environment.

What's in it for us?

Participating schools will present their initiative to a panel of judges and will share a prize pool of $2000 that supports their initiative and school environment.

How can we enter?

Each school that enters this challenge will be supported by our Environmental Education Community Facilitator.

If you’re keen to take part, please complete the registration form below and we will be in touch. Registrations for 2023 closed end of term 1 - Thursday 6 April 2023.  For more information, please contact us here.
