Elections 2019 Ngā Pōti 2019

Local government elections are held every 3 years when residents can vote for a regional councillor to represent them. The Hawke’s Bay region has five constituencies represented by Councillors, with representation determined by the Electoral Commission New Zealand and based on population.

The next local election is in October 2019.  Being an elected member of Hawke’s Bay Regional Council is an opportunity for you to work with our local communities for a better environment.
