2021 Hastings by-election results

A by-election was required to fill an extraordinary vacancy for the Hastings constituency of the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council. This by-election has arose from the resignation of councillor Rex Graham.

The final result for the by-election that closed at midday on Friday 24 September 2021 is:

Jacqueline Taylor is declared elected. The voter return was 24.37%, being 10,372 votes.
