People & Capability Advisor - HRIS Project

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly capable and self-motivated human resource professional to apply an HR lens to our exciting new HRIS project. The role will see you providing guidance and support to the project team around the configuration and implementation of an HRIS system for Council. There has been a significant amount of growth across our organisation recently and we need new and improved systems to boost our effectiveness. This role will be ideal for someone who has a high level of initiative, can be pragmatic and has the ability to produce a great result for the end user. Alongside this, you will need to hit the ground running, initially supporting the People and Capability Team to provide recruitment advice to the organisation and ensuring a quality employee experience before moving into the project space.

This is a fixed term role for 18 months in a close knit and high-performing team in a busy organisation that is undergoing a period of growth. We have a great workplace culture and while we work hard, we also enjoy a good laugh!

 

About you:

Ideally you will be a friendly and engaging person, who can deliver an excellent service to various stakeholders across an organisation. You will have HR systems and policy experience, competence in working through the full employee life cycle and up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.

Ideally you will also have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and generalist HR knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience in projects involving HRIS systems and implementation projects
  • Experience demonstrating responsibility of systems, reporting analytics, or systems changes/rollouts.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for solution focused outcomes

The salary range for this role is between $84,960 to $94,400 dependant on your level of qualification and experience. We can offer flexible working arrangements and a positive, supportive working environment.
