Public Notice – HB Today 29 August 2016

HAVELOCK NORTH WATER CONTAMINATION ISSUE

Hawke’s Bay Regional Council is responsible for issuing resource consents for the use of water, for municipal supplies, industry and agriculture.

Our role in this issue is to help identify the source of the water supply contamination, to stop it and prevent the same thing happening in the future.

We are continuing to carry out extensive testing, as the results to date have been inconclusive. We will keep testing until we can confirm a result.

We will be at the Havelock North Public Meetings this week in full support of Hastings District Council and HB District Health Board.  We will explain our testing and anything related to the results.

Hastings District Council Public Meetings

Tuesday 30 August & Wednesday 31 August,

5.30 – 7 pm,

Riverbend Bible Church, 354 Te Aute Road, Havelock North.

Liz Lambert, Interim Chief Executive
