The Matariki Governance Group is seeking expressions of interest from individuals or appropriate consultants to provide high level programme management and implementation of Matariki – Hawke’s Bay Economic Strategy and Action Plan 2016; http://www.hbreds.nz/matariki/action-plan.pdf

Government agencies have provided strong support to the development of Matariki and along with local government, business and iwi form part of the governance group.

You will need excellent programme and project management skills and high level communication and reporting skills. An ability to deliver to deadlines and promote quality outcomes are an essential part of this role.

An ability to build strong relationships, apply the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and an ability to influence, negotiate and promote are also essential qualities required.
