Cyclone Gabrielle has had a significant and long-lasting impact on the infrastructure, environment and communities in our region. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Regional Projects team to make an active contribution to the recovery effort, contributing towards making our region a better place to live. This is a fixed term (approximately 19 months), fulltime role which offers diverse and interesting work, a rare opportunity to be part of a flood network redesign for an entire region and work that will continue to unfold over the next ten years. These projects will make a real difference for Hawke’s Bay, bringing you immense job satisfaction and a feeling of true achievement. Based in Hawke’s Bay as part of a wider delivery team, this position will provide day to day management of infrastructure projects within the Hawke’s Bay Region and contribute to the strategic direction on how the asset management group delivers its capital programme.
You will remain calm under pressure, pick up new systems with ease, and able to juggle multiple tasks on the go. You will also be a great communicator, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders from a diverse background. The salary range for this role is between $104,635 to $123,100 and will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. We are open to offering competitive market rates to secure the right people to get this critical work delivered for our community.
