Regional Rates Final Due Date

Hawke’s Bay Regional Council rate payments are coming in steadily as the final date for payment -  Wednesday 31 January - approaches.

Anyone who has not already arranged direct debit payments or regular internet banking payments should ensure their final payment will clear their bank before the end of the month.  A late payment penalty of 10% is charged on any outstanding sum. 

To allow for recent NZ Post delivery changes, anyone mailing a cheque payment should be sure to mail it a week ahead so that arrives at the regional council by the due date. 

Payments can be made at any BNZ bank (evidence of a rates account will be needed), at Hawke’s Bay Regional Council in Napier, at Hastings District Council main counter or by internet banking or credit card.
