Human Resources Administrator (Part Time) (Vacancy No 18-923)

Are you an experienced Human Resources Administrator looking for a new challenge?

Hawke’s Bay Regional Council is looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Administrator to hit the ground running and support the HR Team. You will have excellent administration skills and a keen interest in improving systems and processes. This is a great opportunity to further your HR career in the local government sector.

This part time role is responsible for providing effective and efficient support across all aspects of HR. You will have;

  • Strong working knowledge of Human Resource processes
  • Good understanding of the recruitment process
  • Strong database management and Microsoft office expertise
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • An eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines and a high level of confidentiality
  • Solution focussed attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ideally, experience with health and safety administration

The HR team works with all groups across council, therefore an ability to work effectively with a variety of people and situations is a must. We are looking for a warm and welcoming personality with a good sense of humour and a high level of integrity to join us for 20 hours per week.
