Are you ready to inspire our business to be fully engaged in a successful transition to our new core business solution IRIS, and be the primary point of contact for on-going support and continuous improvement? IRIS is a collaboratively designed solution by Regional Councils across New Zealand, to perform their unique resource management role.

This is an exciting opportunity for a smart, proactive, ‘can do’ person who is ready to unleash their exceptional customer service, application support, business analysis and problem solving skills to make a real difference to our business and how we serve our citizens.

This is a permanent full time role for 40 hours per week. As Business Application Specialist IRIS you will engage with the business to deliver first class customer support being the first point of contact for the business for application support, to provide ongoing training for new releases and features, and to understand how we can maximise opportunities for continuous improvement related to IRIS and associated business processes.

The key skills you’ll need to bring along are:

  • First class customer service, a real ‘can do’ attitude!
  • Proven experience managing and resolving end user requests and issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Outstanding time management and task prioritisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to build and nurture trusting relationships with numerous stakeholder groups
  • Excellent problem solving ability, an innovative growth mind-set and the ability to think ‘outside the box’
  • Strong business analysis experience
  • A champion of continuous improvement and change management
  • A passion for people, process and solutions!
