HBRC is looking for a confident and dynamic leader to manage the Tukituki/Southern Coasts Catchment Management Team. This new, influential and challenging role requires a strong leader who can drive change and lead a high performing team.Based in Waipawa you will be part of a supportive environment and great team culture. The newly formed Catchment Management Team operates over three zones with your primary responsibility being the Tukituki/Southern Coasts Zone.
This is a key new role within HBRC. It will require you to positively champion and lead the development and ongoing review of Integrated Catchment Management plans for the Tukituki/Southern Coasts catchments, deliver against Councils exciting new erosion control programme, continue and build on our successful implementation programme for freshwater policy and build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with our partners, stakeholders and other parts of Council.
As a Catchment Manager you will ensure the effective delivery of Council services within the Tukituki/Southern Coasts river catchments and the integration across bio-security, biodiversity, science and environmental information activities within the catchment.
