Hawke’s Bay Regional Council is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Team Leader Hydrometric Network to join our Environmental Information Team. The Hydrometric Network Team designs and conducts a variety of scientific and environmental investigations, analyses data and provides verbal advice to stakeholders.
This role requires a great people leader, someone who is skilled at inspiring, motivating and directing teams which value team work and are able to deliver quality monitoring information.
The Team Leader Hydrometric Network will be a technical expert and provide professional strategic direction to the hydrology and hydrogeology technician teams. You will lead Annual Planning and Projects, ensuring monitoring activities are scheduled and assigned appropriately to achieve objectives.
A recognised tertiary qualification in an environmental science or engineering discipline, with specific training and experience in hydrology or a NZ Diploma in Hydrology would be an advantage.
