Environmental Information Resource Analyst (Vacancy 18-965)

Hawke’s Bay Regional Council is looking for a reliable and diligent Resource Analyst to join our Environmental Information Team. The Environmental Information Team provides safe and efficient collection of a range of environmental data that can be shared with a range of stakeholders and the general public.

This role requires the technical ability and experience to be applied in expert manner to assist the Data Management and Innovation team achieve the goals and objectives of HBRC’s Annual and Long Term Plans and other as required.

The successful candidate will primarily provide support to the Team Leader Data Management and Innovation, this will include maintaining authoritative datasets for water quality and ecology information.

Recognised tertiary qualification in a science discipline, preferably environmental science relating to water quality and ecology would be an advantage.
