Kids 4 Drama Back in the Bay

kids for drama

kidsfordramapicA collaboration by all five Hawke’s Bay councils is bringing the Kids 4 Drama troupe back to schools over the next two weeks with their environmentally focussed production.

This year the young performers have a new show “The Great Greenie Goof Off”, which presents topics such as plastic bags and food waste, paper recycling and the value of riparian zones.  As in previous years of touring the Bay, the 30 minute play is both very entertaining and educational, and pitched at a perfect level for their primary age audiences.

Kids 4 Drama will give 28 performances starting on Monday 9 May - 7 performances to Hastings schools, 5 in Napier, 10 in CHB, and 6 to Wairoa Schools.

Hawke’s Bay Regional, Central Hawke’s Bay District, Hastings District, Napier City, Wairoa District Councils have added a competition to the programme this year – one school in each region will go in to the draw to receive 40 re-usable canvas shopping bags.

Reporters - Tour schedule at the end of attached media release.  If you want to attend a performance and take photos, please contact the relevant school directly to get permission.
