Project Engineer/Project Manager Infrastructure

The primary purpose will be the day to day management of regional infrastructure projects. Additionally you will assist with the strategic direction on how the Asset Management Group delivers its capital program.

Key aims of the role include:

  • Providing expertise in capital project delivery
  • Maintaining and improving the project management framework and information system link within the corporate PMO
  • Delivery a portfolio of capital infrastructure projects on time, in budget and to agreed quality

To be considered you will have:

  • A tertiary Engineering or related qualification.
  • Proven experience in delivering infrastructure projects with a government, environmental or utilities focus
  • Practical knowledge of River Engineering
  • Developed Project Management experience across frameworks, systems and practices
  • Working knowledge of NZS3910 contract documentation and relevant legislation
  • Experience with project financials and estimating
  • Familiar with MS Project and project management tools

As the Project Engineer Infrastructure you will support the Asset Management Group with project estimating and champion change to the performance of the project delivery is transparent and visible. Based in centrally located, open plan offices in a vibrant region with strong forecast growth and ongoing environmental challenges this is a role where you can really make a difference.
