Hawke’s Bay Regional Council is looking for a person with an engineering, environmental or parks qualification to add their skills and enthusiasm to its Regional Assets team in the role of Open Spaces Development Officer.

This role will focus on the development and maintenance of new and existing Council open space areas associated with enhancement of waterways and Regional Parks throughout Hawke’s Bay.

This will involve supporting, organising and motivating marae and community groups and volunteers who wish to become involved in HBRC's activities in this area.

You will need excellent communication skills and be self-managing and innovative.
