Public Notice: Tukituki River jet boating event

Published: 15 July 2026

WB 0521 Publicnotice 002

Jet Boating New Zealand will be holding a members-only River Run on the Tukituki River on Sunday 19 July, from 8.30am to 4.30pm with a maximum of 35 vessels.

The event will take place between the Waimarama Road Bridge (just outside of Havelock North) and the confluence of the Waipawa and Tukituki Rivers.

Participants have been granted permission by the Hawke's Bay Harbourmaster to exceed the usual 5-knot speed limit but must slow to less than 5 knots if they come across other river users. There will be no exclusion zone in place, so other river users can continue to access the river. Please be aware that boat wash may affect activities on the water.

For questions about the event, please contact office@jbnz.co.nz.
