Hawke's Bay Regional Council also uses this information for flood monitoring, stream health and asset management. The number of cameras available on this page will grow as we add existing and new cameras to our network.
Our webcams operate during daylight hours when there is sufficient visibility. During periods of darkness or very low visibility, some cameras may temporarily stop displaying images.
If a webcam image is unavailable, this does not mean monitoring has stopped. Our teams continue to monitor river levels and environmental data through multiple systems and processes, and coordinate with emergency management and council partners as required. You can check live rainfall, river levels and forecasts on our Flood Dashboard.

Recorded footage is stored for on average 26 days before being overwritten. See our Privacy Statement.
