Finance Roles - Expression of Interest

About the Opportunities:

HBRC has exciting opportunities for skilled individuals to join our Finance team in project roles. We are looking for expressions of interest from people with experience in the following areas - project accounting, systems accounting, business analysts with finance acumen, or IT with a finance background - to come on board and support the successful and timely development of our business processes as we go into the next phase of our finance system integration/implementation.  The key purpose of these roles will be to work alongside the finance team to optimise system capability and to connect the business with the finance project team.  We are looking for strong, effective communicators and knowledge of change management processes would be advantageous.

 Our focus is on finding the right people for the right roles that fit with what you as an individual can bring to our team. We have two positions to fill, both full-time on a fixed term basis for two years.

General role requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree, equivalent tertiary qualification or experience.
  • Accounting and systems experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other database and information management systems.
  • Experience in working with financial reporting systems and requirements. 

You'll need a 'can do' attitude and be able to hit the ground running, along with:

  • Strong work ethic and a collaborative approach to achieving outcomes.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast paced and changeable environment.
  • Ability to effectively plan, organise and co-ordinate work to ensure that goals are achieved with the highest quality of work possible within agreed timeframes.
  • An excellent standard of written and verbal communication that enables you to effectively convey technical information to end users.
