How to find the data
You can view our data on a map, a chart, or in a table by clicking between the tabs. Search for the site(s) you are looking for to see current data. For each site you can then access a chart to view historical data by clicking on the site name. You can specify a specific date range and download the data in various formats.
Hawke's Bay Regional Council measures water levels in more than 100 wells as part of its state of the environment monitoring programme. You can use the map below to see the wells within the area.
Hawke’s Bay Regional Council’s groundwater quality monitoring network consists of around 74 wells across the region. Water quality is sampled quarterly for a range of parameters. You can use the map above to find out more about groundwater quality in your area. You can find an information sheet about how groundwater contamination can affect you here.
