About The opportunity | Ko te āheinga:

Are you a numbers-orientated, logical thinking professional with a knack for financial analysis and strategic planning? Are you ready to take your career to the next level and make a significant impact on a dynamic organisation? If so, we invite you to join our Finance Team as a Management Accountant based in Napier.

 

This critical role will see you actively partnering with our business providing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and in-house consultative services to our people. Reporting to the Senior Business Partner, this role works alongside a motivated and talented accountancy team to support our people by providing professional financial advice and reporting.  You will be an integral part of the wider Finance team delivering the Long-Term Plan, Annual Plan, Annual Reports, and a broad range of accounting functions.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running! Ideally you would have had at least two years accounting experience. You will have great interpersonal skills and thrive in a team environment. You will be able to translate complex financial information into understandable language for those you support, helping them to work more effectively with budgets and planning. This is a diverse and interesting role for the right person, highlighting both your accounting expertise and your ability to connect with people across a multi-disciplinary team.

 

In this role you will have | I tenei mahi ka mahi koe:

  • Tertiary Degree in Accounting
  • Chartered Accountant Qualification (or working towards) is preference .
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accountancy role, ideally where you business partnered with internal stakeholders.
  • In depth understanding of management accounting best practice.
  • Broad understanding of accounting systems.
  • High level of Excel and computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Flexibility and innovation, ability to learn new systems and be proactive.

 

What we offer | Nga huanga mōu:

The salary range for this role is between $97,830 to $108,700 and will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
