Communications Advisor (Vacancy 19-204)

Hawke’s Bay Regional Council has two rare opportunities to welcome fresh thinking into our Marketing Communications team. The new roles will establish strong relationships, play an integral role in developing a work plan aligned to our key strategic narratives, and work closely with the MarComms team to engage and reflect the regional community in our dynamic work.

The successful candidates will have a relevant tertiary qualification, experience in the communications, marketing and/ or public relations fields, and excellent relationship, writing and project management skills.

As part of a team of six with high delivery expectations, you will need to be fully engaged, flexible to change and able to provide great service to the diverse work streams across the Regional Council’s evolving identity.
