Hawke’s Bay Regional Council has received the following applications for resource consents under the Resource Management Act 1991. The applications are publicly notified in accordance with section 95A of the Resource Management Act 1991.

Details of the proposed activities:

To extract gravel (defined as gravel and associated sand, silt and other riverbed sediments) from the beds of the Ngaruroro River, Tukituki Catchment Rivers (Tukituki River, Waipawa River, Makaretu River, Mangaonuku Stream, Tukipo River) and Tutaekuri River, comprising the active river channel and berms, for the purposes of maintaining the design channel capacity and the alleviation of flood and erosion risk.

Location:

Various locations along the Ngaruroro River, Tukituki Catchment Rivers and Tutaekuri River to the coast generally on Crown land that is administered by the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council. See consent applications for details.

Submissions: 

Submissions for these applications opened on 2 February 2019 and closed at 5.00pm on 4 March 2019.  Submissions can be made via the online form below or hard copy submission forms can be obtained from the Regional Council reception 159 Dalton Street, Napier or by contacting the Consents Administrator (06) 833 9210 ext 9327.

Council has waived the requirement to serve a submission on the applicant under section 96(6)(b) as a complete index of submissions will be provided after submissions close, and electronic submissions will automatically be copied to the applicant's agent.
