ICT Service Desk Officer

About the Opportunity:

Due to internal promotion, we are looking for an ICT Service Desk Officer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The role is the first contact to our 300+staff and is responsible for answering support calls and requests, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving level 1 technical issues with computers, cell phones, MFP printers and meeting room technologies. The position will also assist with and monitor level 2 requests.

 About you:

You will be a smart, proactive, ‘can do’ person who is able to unleash your exceptional customer service, time management and problem-solving skills in our close-knit and positive minded ICT team.

 You may be a recent graduate however some experience with hardware and software would be advantage.

You will also have the following skills:

  • First class customer service, and a real ‘can do’ attitude!
  • Level 1 administrative skills with Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving ability with an ability to manage customer expectations.
  • Outstanding time management and task prioritisation; and
  • A passion for Hawke’s Bay and technology!

The salary range for this role is between $51,930 to $57,700 depending on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
