About the Opportunity:

The Consents team provide guidance and advice on resource consenting matters to stakeholders including the community, tangata whenua, resource consent applicants, resource consent holders, interested or affected parties and to internal HBRC staff. They also play a vital part in establishing and applying procedures for receiving, processing and managing resource consents.

HBRC is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Consents Administrator to join our consents team. Reporting to the Manager Consents you will be an integral member of our consents planning team, working alongside our planners to support the administrative needs of the team. This role is vital to ensuring that the team has effective administrative support for all resource consent processes. You will also lead the process for invoicing of resource consent applicants, ensuring this is completed in a timely and accurately manner.

This is a permanent role that has the flexibility it to be either full-time or part-time, we will fit in with the right person!

About you:

As an administrative super star, you will be confident and proactive with an eye for detail. A solution focused individual, you will have a natural way with people, and a drive to effectively support, enable and engage with your team. You will be someone who consistently produces quality work that you take pride in and be willing to step in where needed as tasks arise.  A positive and proactive approach to your work and strong verbal and written communication skills will serve you well in this role.  

The salary range is between $48,060 to $53,400, depending on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
