Youth Climate Action Camp 2023

The Youth Climate Action camp is back once again and we want you to get involved. On this page you can find out more about the camp and sign up.

This two day day camp aims to bring together a diverse group of rangatahi, knowledgeable guest speakers and stakeholders for collective conversation and action on how Hawke’s Bay addresses climate challenges over the coming decades. This will be an inclusive event for rangatahi of all backgrounds, sharing te ao Māori knowledge and giving students actionable learning outcomes.  

Where is the camp being held?

The Youth Climate Action camp will take place at the Omatua Riverside Lodge, Rissington, as an overnight camp for local high school students.

What are the dates?

A two day camp on Wednesday 22 March and Thursday 23 March 2023.

How can I take part?

If you would like to take part in this event, please complete the registration form below ASAP - numbers are limited!
Note: It is a requirement that each school attending has a teacher accompany students.
